Vanilla Pound Cake


Ingredients:

200gr Butter 
1 ¾ Cups Sugar
4 Large Eggs
1 Cup Milk 
2 ¾ Cups All-Purpose Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder 
Vanilla Extract to taste (1 tsp)
Lemon Zest (optional)


Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350F (180C). Grease the cake pan of your choice with butter and flour.


In the Mixer, beat together butter and sugar to a creamy texture, for about 10 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, then add the lemon zest. 

Whisk together the flour and baking powder.

Add the flour mix alternating with the milk, add vanilla to the mix. 

Pour the batter in the cake pan and bake for approximately 50 - 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. 


Let it cool a few minutes and remove from the pan while still warm. Enjoy with a cup of Coffee or Tea. Disfuten!!
